Answer: It is fine to use in saltwater. Clean it with fresh water after use and take it apart for cleaning and oiling every few trips. It comes apart very easily with no tools. Question: Does this reel have a screw in handle ? Answer: The MegaTron utilizes a pin style handle. It has a locking pin that screws into the handle. Question: Can it be converted to right hand use ? Answer: All of our spinning reels are convertible left or right hand retrieve. You would unscrew the handle cap, and put the handle on the opposite side and replace the cap. Question: Are the 4000,5000,6000 all the same measurements ? Answer: As you move up the sizes from 4000-6000 the spools will increase in size and the bodies will be larger.
