This sleeve part uses Type 416 Stainless Steel Heat Treated material (it is way better than PENN OEM's material). FYI... All stainless steel grades do rust. some take longer than the other. To ensure the stainless steel to take the longest time to rust, applying grease on it. The difference between this SS416 heat treated stainless steel grade to the other grade (304), this SS416 heat treated is much, much....... stronger than 303, 304 and blah ......
