This is a USA made new model 7-8 LC full frame ,Large Capacity ( regular arbor ) style Teton Classic Fly Reel in it's original box, instruction sheet , and neoprene reel case. The reel is Black with White logos. The reel comes LH retrieve but can be switched to RH easily as instructed in the reel manual. I will change retrieve if requested at time of purchase. The reels and spools are made from 6061 bar stock Aluminum and all components are stainless steel or anodized to be made salt water safe. The retrieve handle is made from epoxy impregnated Dymond Wood. The design is the same as the original Teton and Tioga reels which were produced by the Teton Fly Reel Co. in CA and went out of business in 2008. Teton USA purchased the right to the design and name in 2009. Most parts are interchangeable with the older Teton /Tioga reels. The 7-8 LC Teton USA Reel is the same size as the older model 8-10 Teton. It is 3.75 inches in diameter and weighs 6.8 ounces . It will hold a WF 8F line and 225 yds. of 20 lb. backing or WF9F and175 yds. of 20lb. backing. This makes the Teton Classic 7-8 LC an ideal reel for bonefish, stripers, steelhead, salmon or permit.
