This is a vintage Scientific Anglers System 4 fly reel. Built by Hardy Brothers and the same as the later Hardy Marquis 4 fly reel. Desirable double pawl model. Still in very good condition. Set up for left hand retrieve now. Some signs of age and fishing use but nothing other than surface marks that will not interfere with using the reel. The case is in good condition with just fading to the lettering on the top. I would advise not using the case a lot as the vinyl and zippers on these cases don't hold up to constant use. I will pull my fly line off before shipping the reel. This will ship by USPS Ground Advantage Mail.
