The 22 Stella equipped with Infinity Cross boasts approximately twice the durability of the 18 Stella.Advancements in gear tooth design and manufacturing technology have increased the contact area where the drive gear and pinion gear mesh.By dispersing the load on the gear teeth surface, damage is prevented from being concentrated, resulting in high durability. The 22 Stella features an Anti-Twist Fin, which is not included in the 18 model, installed at the bottom of the line roller.The Anti-Twist Fin is Shimano's proprietary structure designed to suppress line twists.It prevents line slack, which can cause the line to drop off the spool's bottom or be wound while twisted, thus reducing line troubles.The inclusion of the Infinity Drive in the 22 Stella is another noteworthy feature, enabling smooth reeling.Even under the strain of a hooked fish, it allows for powerful retrieval, further enhancing the already powerful Stella.The Infinity Drive is a structure evolved from X-SHIP, significantly reducing the sliding resistance of the main shaft, thus achieving effortless reeling. The C2500SXG is a compact 2500 size reel with an extra high gear ratio of 6.3.With a weight of 205g, it's slightly lighter than the standard 2500 size reel, making it suitable for technical fishing games.Its high gear ratio allows for easy capture of changes in lure movement, making it a standout feature of this model.
